Raintree founder Russ Diamond was also the founder of PACleanSweep, an organization that made history in Pennsylvania. Largely responsible for the first-ever ouster of a Supreme Court Justice in Pennsylvania in 2005, PACleanSweep raised over 110 candidates for the PA General Assembly in 2006, taking responsibility for over 40 percent of the challenger field.

As a result of PACleanSweep's efforts, the state's Senate Pro Tempore, Senate Majority Leader and House Minority Whip all lost their seats in that election cycle while 24 percent of the General Assembly was refreshed with new faces.
